The mountain where I ride is in northern Iowa, which is almost always frigid and icy in the winter, so instead of powder, I get shards of ice and moisture-depleted air destroying my face unless I grow a giant gross beard and moustache (and that just freezes up form the moisture) or wear a bandana. The bandana does some to stop the wind, but because it’s the midwest, I spend more time on the chairlift than the run and the moisture from my breath that soaked into the bandana on the way down freezes to my face on the way up. And, of course, it always falls down or redirects my breath into my goggles, fogging them up. A powder bandit would surely not succumb to the last two problems, and the fleece would keep my rakish good looks from being ruined by the wind/frozen spittle. Also, I’d look fantastic while I’m failing off of beginner boxes and flailing uselessly off of patheticly small sidehits!

As a new broke boarder, I’m forced to use busted equipment and old ugly gear. To cover my neck currently, I use an old maroon neck gator which is stretched out and ugly.
I’m sure with a sweet new powder bandit I’d be able to shred way harder. Plus, it would be nice to have at least one cool piece of gear.
